Jan Piekło is one of our honorary members of the organizational staff of the “Polish Civic Fundraiser: Arm Ukraine”. We asked the former Polish ambassador to Ukraine to support the fundraiser and help us organize it, considering his experience in international and Ukrainian affairs. For us, this is a substantive support of the initiative and contacts to people who can be crucial in organizing the fundraisers and purchases. We took the opportunity to ask Mr. Ambassador why he thinks the fundraiser is worthwhile, whether it is possible to be indifferent to what is happening in Ukraine, while we also asked about private matter, i.e. why he feels connected to Ukraine.
